Hong Kong IT Alliance

) was formed in March 1999 under the initiative
of Champion
Technology Holdings Limited and other IT professionals. It
represents the private sector dedication to promote the local IT industry.
In particular, this is a pledge of support of the SAR Government's
efforts to develop Hong Kong as a regional IT hub. |

Hong Kong IT Alliance's objective is to bring together the resources of some of the local IT industry's most promising talent in software development, including many of the local SMEs. It is specially formed to support bids for various IT contracts in the Government and commercial sectors. Through this vehicle, it is expected that necessary financial and administrative support, project management skills, software quality assurance, as well as infrastructure and technical assistance are provided to member companies in fulfilment of their performance obligations. |

Hong Kong IT Alliance's business focus is in the areas of e-Commerce; enterprise applications; Internet security and content development; education software; and outsourcing services, covering call centre, testing centre, disaster recovery centre, and programming services. It aims at providing high quality solutions to major IT projects in Hong Kong and overseas. Where required, it will bring in foreign technology partnership to enhance the mix of expertise required for specific projects. |
